The Norwalk First Taxing District Water Department has recently put in place an innovative system called AlertMedia to ensure seamless communication during both planned and emergency situations. With AlertMedia, we can send alerts via email, text, voice call, and app push to keep you informed and safe no matter where you are.

We will use this system to notify you about critical events such as Water Main Breaks, Water Main Flushing, Hydrant Flushing, Hydrant Maintenance, Valve Maintenance, and more. You can respond to our notifications with questions or helpful information.

You can choose to not sign up for Alert Media, in doing so you acknowledge you will not receive timely notifications about critical events.
